	Existing naturally in the remote desert mountains of California, Alabaster exhibits all the qualities of fine stone, yet is easily drilled. Our finished Alabaster stone presents a distinctive look with various shades of white as the primary color, but ranging to speckled burgundy, gray, rust and charcoal. Polished and velvet laquer-sealed, Alabaster offers an appearance well suited for gallery quality artwork. Alabaster Flats Slices of finished Alabaster make distinctive mounts for artwork, pen sets, craft projects, you name it. Alabaster Burls Alabaster Burls come with a flat bottom and unique shapes, and are generally used to accommodate peg-mounted items. Alabaster Flattops Take an Alabaster Burl with a flat bottom, cut the top off and you've got a Flattop. Thicker, flat area on top makes for a great presentation. Alabaster Sculpture Blocks Cut on all sides for a more elegant look, Sculpture Blocks are often used to accent gallery quality items.
